I feel very blessed that I have such amazing family and friends to be willing guinea pigs for me when trying out a certain look or a new technique (the friends being the more willing ones, the family usually has to involve some kind of bribery.......). That being said trying to then get a perfect shot is almost near impossible as it inevitably breaks down into hysterics as my models inject their own personality into the character I was trying to portray through the make up. Hence the fact that my alien warrior in the first pic looks more like he's auditioning for an extra-terrestrial version of Priscilla Queen of the Desert-thank you little brother. But that's why I absolutely love these photos and here are just a few of my favourites.
